CIVIL ENGINEERING > SITE APPRAISALS AND FEASIBILITY STUDIES
We offer early identification of site constraints relating to the development of greenfield and brownfield sites. Our assessments include feasibility of surface & foul drainage connections, access roads, sewer adoptions requirements, ground contamination issues and detailed cut & fill calculations using digital terrain software.
Our reports are:
Utilities Technical Appraisal Report This report provides an overview of the utilities and their impact on the development. It highlights project's showstoppers and gives recommendations for future work. The report also aids compliance with client's responsibilities under CDM regulations 2015.
Technical Development Appraisal This appraisal makes an initial assessment of risks at a very general levels on a site. It includes recommendations for detailed desk studies (or indeed other studies) looking at specific issues. Detailed desk studies can be undertake in parallel with the TDA.
Preliminary Cut and Fill Calculation and level design It provides quantities of soil that requires disposal or importing. This evaluation uses 3D models and satellite level data. This design follows the level design and is of particular importance for developments where heavy excavation is expected.
Vehicle Tracking & Road Design This initial design includes road geometry design, vehicle tracking, calculation of visibility splays (horizontal and vertical), car park distribution and identification of statutory permits. The design will accompany the transport assessment or statement.
