Cidermill Theatre creates a vibrant new learning environment in which the children of Chipping Campden School can thrive. The creative space will encourage more people to explore the arts and will free up teaching space in other locations around the school. The theatre also benefits the surrounding community who can now enjoy stage productions and cinema on their own doorstep.

The Challenge
When entering through the main entrance, visitors are greeted by a double height foyer with a large circular rooflight providing a view to the sky, and a feature staircase leading up to a balcony overlooking the foyer.
The SOLID Approach
Through our expert knowledge of working with timber, we have designed the feature glulam columns of the canopy to be efficient whilst retaining the aesthetic impact of the feature.
